This is the preliminary (first time) expedition; hence the itinerary is only an estimate. Drive from Nairobi for three and half days of paddling on this extraordinary Rift Valley Lake, camping on islands and remote sections of the lake shore.
No experience necessary, just a good sense of adventure!

(5 days Nairobi-Lake Baringo-Nairobi)

February to April
(But can also be arranged for anytime of the year)

Day 1:Drive from Nairobi down and along the Rift Valley to Lake Baringo. Unpack, organise equipment and training in kayaking on the lake. Camp on the lake shore.
Day 2:Start of the Kayak Expedition, following the lake shore as we head north then east around the top of the Lake. Camp on Lokoros Island.
Day 3:Paddle across to the eastern side of the lake and follow this wild lake shore, camp on the lake shore.
Day 4: Set off to the islands; Ruko, Ol Kokwe and camp on Parmalog Island at Teddy bear Island camp.
Day 5: Paddle from the Island back to the western shore. Repack and drive back to Nairobi.
